    Story

Averlee ellie Horsfield was born 6th july 2017 at the royal stoke hospital. Just before discharge home on the 7th doctors found what they thought was a murmur in Averlees heart. Ultrasound confirmed they were wrong and she indeed actually had two open holes. After many hospital visits it was determined heart surgery was enevitable it was just a matter of time. They had to do lots of preparation and ensure little lady was strong enough to endure such a serious operation.
On the 27th of this month just over a week until sceduled surgery averlee took a turn for the worst. With oxygen levels halved she was blue lighted via ambulance to ressusatation at the north staffs where she remained in high dependancy care until transported to Birmingham the following day.
Consultants wanted to try and being her operation forward but with a few funny turns drop in oxygen having to be prescribed morphine as sedation and being fed through a tube they simply decided she wasn't strong enough to stand the surgery.

Open heart surgery for full repair of Ventricular septal defect and Pulmonary stenosis.

this surgery is intended to make the heart work normally. The heart will need to be stopped and opened. A machine will have to take over the job that the heart normally does – the heart bypass machine.
The aim of the operation is to make the circulation of blood through the heart and lungs as normal as possible. A patch is put over the hole between the ventricles, and the narrow area around the pulmonary valve enlarged.

Averlee is not aloud home from Birmingham until she has had the operation. Her body simply isn't coping with the defect.

Averlee has the world's best mum. Becka is so strong.
Birmingham have no spaces for parental accommodation so Tim is still in Stoke.
Beck is going through this all alone.
we need to try and raise some funds to pay for accommodation and living costs while they're away from home, who knows how long she will be there
    every little counts.
