Story

Cyril Ndegeya is a professional photojournalist from Rwanda and a Friend of AviAssist. He works really hard to earn his stripes in aviation, one day hoping to become a professional aviator in his home country Rwanda. He is a professional sales volunteer for the AviAsssist Foundation. Want to see some of Cyril's work? Have a look at his Flickr photostream for a selection of his stunning work.

During his visit to the Netherlands on the 20th of November to attend the Friends of AviAssist symposium and take pictures for us, his bag with Canon 5D Mark III camera & his MacBook laptop as well as a number of hard drives were stolen. As you can imagine this is a tremendous set back for Cyril and also hard to replace.

We feel ashamed of his ordeal and would love to assist him in getting back on track.

Replacing Cyril's photo camera and lenses will cost around £2,500 and a replacement MacBook Pro costs around £1,000. We have agreed that any excess funding will go towards the work of Friends of AviAssist.

All proceeds that we receive will go towards the goal with no funds used for any administration costs involved.
