Story

My father passed away suddenly in july 2017. It hit us hard as he was only 62, fit and healthy. February of this year I was hit by the benefit cap resulting in a loss of £120 per week. My rent is not covered and is now unaffordable. I have a job starting soon but as I have been unable to cover the rent my landlord has started eviction proceedings. Local council cannot help not until the bailiffs are at my door and myself and my 3 children are on the streets. I really do not want to put my children through this as they have been through enough witnessing violence and suicide attempts from their father, then losing their grandad. I am hoping that I can raise enout for a deposit for a new home in a new area and will be starting employment before bailiffs arrive. This is not a sob story but a cry for help as there is no help out there for my, worried for my children. Thankyou very much for reading, every little counts 🤗
