Story
In 2016 a lady called Ms Asha Ali Rage, Somali mother with three children started voluntary small group of children to train football every Friday at Small Heath Leisure center, later on when the group grew, she got training as a professional coach and run this sport for children in most deprived area in Birmingham with families who are long-term unemployed, refugees, domestic violence effected mothers and those who are unable to pay the cost of sport facilities for their children. Now she has 160 children from age of 7 years old to 17 years and every week their number are growing. She never received or applied any funding and she managed to provide football, netball and basketball for boys and girls in different ages with little fund raising and membership fee from some parents. So she has been awarded the West Midlands Community Sports 2018 Coach of the year and she will receive her award on 6th December 2018. The reason for this fund raising is to get a youth center which is located in the heart of local community in Small Heath, Birmingham and the sport activities such as renting football, netball and basketball pitches every week.
