Josh is a 15-year-old Leighton Buzzard boy, he attends a local upper school, and is starting his G.C.S.E’s. He is determined to continue his education through to an engineering degree to fulfil his career aspirations in Formula 1. Josh was born with Spina Bifida, following his initial surgery the day after his birth, he developed Hydrocephalus which has required further surgeries. He has faced many challenges and surgeries due to these and other related medical conditions.

Over the last few years his ability to mobilise independently has decreased and placed tremendous pressures on his body. To protect his body and development he is using a wheelchair for the majority of his life. This has enabled him to be more independent, and access to life’s opportunities. He now needs a more suitable accommodating wheelchair. We are raising funds for a RGK Tiga Sub wheelchair for him, this will further increase his independence, confidence, and access to the world.
