I'm 6-year medical student working as volunteer in many NGOs supporting human rights n peace.
by the end of October, I've received an email that i got accepted to attend a conference in Trondheim for students to attend 18 different workshops in addition to exchange of ideas and dialogue for peacebuilding
when i've first received the acceptance email i was so excited to attend till i got shocked by the 2nd email telling me that they can't offer financial aid for my flight ticket and visa
the actual shock was knowing that the flights tickets price went twice more expensive than the old price due to the decreased value of egyptian pound against the USD ( 1 USD used to be 8 LE ) and within few days just became ( 1 USD = 17 LE ) so with the new price i can't afford travelling and will miss this golden chance to meet peace builders worldwide and exchange ideas to help our communities.
i tried to register in freelance websites and do paid surveys but i won't get the needed money on time and may mostly miss this chance.
i felt so miserable that one of my dreams is thrown away after being selected among 10000 applicants !!
till one of my friends told me be about crowdfunding and that people may believe in me and fund me to achieve my dream.
i will try everything to make my dream come true, i know it's hard but it's worth it and i hope to find people who can help me
