Abertillery Youth Drama and Music Society is not-for-profit organisation founded in 1985 by Dawn Price and Alison Davies. Currently the society boasts over 100 members between the ages of 4 and 29. It is now run by Hannah Webley and Kellan Groves who volunteer their time to the community of Abertillery coaching their members in Dance, Drama and Music.

We want to ensure that Abertillery shows off the exceptional talent of its children and promotes the youth of our town in a positive light. In order to keep developing these children we need your help, support and donations to help fund the fantastic productions.

We have won NODA's Award for Best Youth Production for our performances of Little Shop of Horrors (2011), Brenda Bly: Teen Detective (2012) and Jekyll and Hyde (2014). We have also won the Gwent Drama League Award for Best Decor: Seussical (2015), Best Youth Production: Seussical (2015), Best Youth Production: Les Miserables (2016).

AYDMS have gone from strength to strength in the last few years and are determined to maintain this high standard of production for many years to come. We really need your support in ensuring that AYDMS can continue their hard work in the community.
