Story

In July 2020, Amaani Beere and I are joining a 22 day expedition to Kathmandu and Pokhara in Nepal.

Our activities will include working on a community project at Shee Janabhawana Primary School, located in Panchkhal. Here, we will be digging and laying the foundations of a new wall around the school compound which will bring security to the students and staff within it. Alongside this, we will be cooking and teaching at the school.

After completing our project, we will be trekking in the Himalayas and exploring the cities of Kathmandu and Pokhara for the remainder of the trip.

The proceeds raised will help me fund the trip in terms of accommodation and travel so that I can partake in this once in a lifetime experience. This is an incredible opportunity to help some of the residents in Nepal, as well as to aid my personal fitness and development, so I greatly appreciate any donations, big or small.

In September, as part of our fundraising efforts, we will be walking 58km over 2 days, from Brighton to Guildford - which is 7 times the height of Nepal’s Mt Everest, the tallest mountain in the world. As an extra act of charity, we will pick up any litter we see.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and I am really grateful for any donations.

Many thanks,

Aylar Gylyjova
