I've raised £300 to Help Justina with accommodation costs for the 15th Annual Conference on Human Trafficking & Social Justice at the University of Toledo, Ohio

I am calling all people who can, to please support with expenses for Justina Onyobru, Executive Director of Mission For Concerned Victims foundation, so that she can attend the 15th Annual Conference on Human Trafficking and Social Justice at Toledo University in Ohio, 20th and 21st September 2018.
Justina has also been invited to attend the 3rd Anuunal Global Conference on Human Trafficking in Chicago, 2nd- 5th September 2018. This is paid for by SAFE CHR (Sex trafficking Awareness, Freedom and Education Coalition for Human Rights) but the other conference in Ohio does not provide accomodation costs. As Mission For Concerned Victims has only just registered, this is a great opportunity for her to connect with others who can support her work in Nigeria.
Background
In July 2017, I had the pleasure to meet Justina when I was asked to replace someone on a panel for HERA (Her Equality Rights and Autonomy), which leads training in entrepreneurship for survivors of human trafficking at Imperial College Business School in London. Justina came up to me after the panel and asked if I could assist her in setting up a not for profit. At the time, she was dealing with the uncertainty of deportation, after 12years in harrowing circumstances. We met several times throughout the year to start envisioning what the non for profit could become and to decide whether it should be set up in Nigeria of UK. Eventually Justina volunteered to leave the country because the proccess was very overwhelming for her, living in constant limbo.
She has been back in Nigeria for 6months and with support from myself and a few others, succesfully registered Mission For Concerned Victims! The aim of this NGO is to empower young girls in Nigeria with education and skills in order to prevent human trafficking. In it’s early stages, I was so pleased to hear that Justina has been invited to two Conferences in Chicago and Ohio this September by SAFE CHR (Sex trafficking Awareness, Freedom and Education Coalition for Human Rights) and Toledo University. I am so proud of how far Justina has come in this past year and inspired by her determination not to be defeated by her circumstances. She has self financed both the registration of the NGO and the website but is unwaged. The first conference is paid for including food and accomodation but the second is not, so I promised to try and help raise funds.
If you can support with.anything, big or small, it would be much appreciated!!!
