Story

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The believer's shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity." (Tirmidhi)

At just 9 years old, Anas suffers from an extremely rare and deadly disease called Adrenoleukodystrophy (also known as ALD). He was suddenly diagnosed at the age of 7, and within the space of just a few months, Anas went from being a perfectly healthy and happy child, to becoming deaf, blind and completely paralyzed. Sadly he lost his father and was orphaned at the age of 4.

Adam is 11 years old and suffers from a number of serious medical illnesses, such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, heart congenital disease, as well as liver disorder and a lack of oxygen in his lungs. His disabilities have left him completely unable to move, sit or speak.

Sadly these children and their families are living way below the poverty line, with absolutely no source of income, other than the small amounts of charitable aid they find available.

Families like Anas and Adam’s are especially vulnerable, as not only do they have the financial worries of providing food and shelter, but having children with such complicated special needs, they have the heavy burden of medical expenses as well.

Alhamdulilah, last year we were granted the opportunity to support Adam and Anas by providing them with enough to cover their basic needs for 1 year; this included their medical fees and equipment, food, rent and furniture.

As the year has now passed, I would like to continue supporting these beautiful children and their families by lifting their financial worries.

Please help me in supporting these children by donating whatever you can. BarakAllahu Feekum.
