Story
Aziz is a 40 year old man with a wife and has three three young children. He used to be lorry driver and the breadwinner to his family before he was in a terrible accident two years ago that has left him paralysed from the waist down. Aziz lives in Morocco where there is no government funded public healthcare. The cost of the treatment he needs would need to be through a private clinic which are very expensive in Morocco and the quote he has received is approximately usd 30000. As you can read in numerous reports and studies of the healthcare system in Morocco, the standard/quality of healthcare in Morocco is shocking and we are not confident they would be able to give him sufficient treatment. We have found a clinic in Turkey (a country known for its better quality healthcare) that can carry out full time treatment to help Aziz start walking again. The treatment is USD 6,000 a month. Based on the medical reports and information we have provided to the clinic, they believe he should require two months of full time intense treatment. However, this cannot be confirmed until he arrives there for them to carry out a full assessment. Inshallah (god willing) two months will be enough. We would really appreciate your support and donations to help get him back on his feet so that he can work again and support his family. Morocco is not an easy place to find work especially with a disability and this would turn his life around from this horrible accident.
