£50raised of £100 target by 4 supporters

Weʼve raised £50 to complete the London Bridges 20mile challenge & raise money to support Diabetes UK, The Jennie Jeffs Silver Star Bursary &The Pilgrim Bandits

Funded on Friday, 13th October 2017

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

This year, Dani and Rob will be taking part in the London Bridges Challenge.

Last year we started the event in the beautiful Battersea Park before criss-crossing 12 of London’s most iconic brides and walking 10 miles west along the River Thames, culminating at the iconic Tower Bridge.
This year we have decided to go mad and start at the finish line, walk to the start and back again, completing a stupid 20 miles!
We have decided to raise funds for 3 charities close to our hearts. Diabetes UK, The Jennie Jeffs Silver Star Bursary and The Pilgrims Bandits

It’s not all about sponsorship, it’s about awareness too, so we would love your messages of support, but obviously for the charities we would be over the moon if you would be kind enough to dig deep and sponsor us!

*Jennie Jeffs The Jennie Jeffs Silver Star Bursary is our way of honouring my Keith’s mum’s legacy while helping others to save young lives. Behind her smile and caring nature she hid heartache she had endured just to be able to be a mum, she had endured miss carriages it was only her determination and help of The Silver Star she had her 2 sons. So, after we lost my mum, our Angel on earth it made sense to help those that helped her in her honour and memory. We provide a staff training and emergency equipment fund for The Silver Star Team

*Pilgrim Bandits Pilgrim Bandits Charity was established by a small group of Special Forces veterans in 2007 with the sole aim of using their unique training and experience to help and inspire wounded soldiers to live life to the full. The mantra ‘Always a Little Further’ is core to the charity’s attitude, whether working with amputee men and women from the services directly or by utilising their experiences to inspire and encourage young people and children. Pilgrim Bandits don’t do sympathy!

*Diabetes UK With diabetes being the most potentially devastating – and fastest growing – health crisis of our time, requiring ongoing high-quality care and support, your fundraising is vital. The money you raise will allow us to continue providing information, advice and support, continue campaigning for better services, and continue our research into new treatments, prevention and one day a cure.
