As you may or may not know, Barbara 'Babs' Wilson sadly passed away on the 19th November at 8.20PM after spending the past 13 months battling cancer.

Initially, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer in October 2015, being given a terminal prognosis immediately. Sadly, just a few days later, the hospital discovered speckles of cancer in her lungs, which was later confirmed as advanced lung cancer. As the cancer progressed, so did her determination to fight the pain. Throughout her journey, she received several rounds of radiation and chemotherapy, but this was only to increase her remaining time.

Unfortunately, she received news that she also had bone (spinal) cancer in October 2016, which meant a significant decline in her health.

This diagnosis left her disabled and permanently bed-bound, but nevertheless, she kept her entire family in tears of laughter due to her high spirits.

She was an extremely feisty, loyal, determined, caring and strong character, who was loved by many, and feared by many more! Throughout her life, she has made a habit of selflessly devoting herself to others, such as protecting her family, her friends, listening, talking, giving generously and generally being a go-to person.

So, I have decided to create this page to see if any of the people she has helped, or other friends, if they would like to make a small contribution to the cost of her funeral.

Every penny raised will go directly towards funeral costs and would be greatly appreciated by her family.
