    Helping Baby Callen

Little Callen was born at 36 weeks on 17th April 2023 to our eldest daughter Emma and Scotty in Zimbabwe.

His brother and sister, Ashton and Eliana, were delighted to meet their little brother.

Callen was doing really well despite his early birth but 6 days after he was born he started to go downhill. After Callen’s heart stopped and he was resuscitated, he was quickly air lifted to South Africa for a lifesaving operation.

The hospital bills are skyrocketing and Emma and Scotty have enough worry with Callen’s health, without the enormous pressure of trying to raise the vital money needed for his life saving operation.

Please could you consider helping us support them with these costs at this really difficult time. We will to keep you updated with his progress.

    Thank you

Emma’s Dad and Mum, Bruce and Rachel Rennie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Scotty and Emma are beyond devastated by Callen’s passing. They fought as hard as Callen did and he couldn’t have asked for more from his phenomenal parents. Thank you all for the amazing love and support you have given them over the last 10 weeks. With medical bills of up to £250,000 still owed, they are drowning with the thought of this, on top of their grief. These bills don’t go away with Callen’s passing. Please help us to keep attempting lift this burden from their shoulders. We owe it to Callen to look after his parents Thank you 💚

From Scotty and Emma Callen, our brave little battler, sadly lost his battle last night. He fought so hard but his little body didn’t cope. We are so proud of him and the fight he had. We are absolutely devastated and in too much shock to write anything else💚

From Scotty and Emma We met with the doctor and surgeon to go through the entire procedure in great detail. They have come to the conclusion that this is the only procedure they can do on Callen and the safest option. However, as we know, his size and due to Callen having had two open heart surgeries and a cath procedure in just over a month this now becomes complex and very risky/dangerous.. This is the only doorway forward for Callen now. Cont.
