This last year I was utterly privileged to welcome into the world baby Oakley. I have been working with his incredible parents since before conception and trust me when I say they are the most wonderful people you could wish to meet.

Sadly when Oakley was born he was diagnosed with a rare condition called Microcephaly (a very small head) and Lissencephaly (smooth brain). After many tests, we still do not know the cause. What we do know is that poor Oakley is suffering the ailments that come with the condition, the most serious right now being frequent seizures. His reflexes maybe an issue but only time will tell just how serious his condition will be.

Oakley's parents are spending a large portion of their time in the hospital where very little is known about his condition or how to help him. Their work life is seriously compromised because of the level of care he needs. While there is no cure for his condition, he will need treatment for the problems that come with microcephaly.

I would like to raise enough money to help Oakley's parents pay for any treatment he might need that the NHS cannot provide while also taking their financial worries away due to time off work.

Oakley is a very special little soul. His energy is palpable and he is so dearly loved. Please help this wonderful family to get the care this wonderful little boy needs.
