Story

We need help to be able to bring our baby home. Albert was born at 24wks on 15/10/18 at 725g albert has nearly died 4 times needing chest compressions and adrenaline to get him started again. He has had an operation for his eyes to help prevent him going blind. He has been in intesive care, high dependancy and now special care. Albert has been alive and in hospital now for 126 days. We have been told in the next couple of weeks he will be home, however we have been told by consultants, drs, nurses that Albert is not aloud home to our current rented property as we have issues with damp, black mould and inadiquate heating all of which would become life treatening to Albert. We have asked the council for help, weve been put on banding A but said will take ages for us to get a property, all of this is delaying Alberts discharge. All we want is to be able to bring our son home to a property that isnt going to kill him, yet the council and even MP dont seem to help or be overly bothered by our situation. All this stress of having a premmie baby, a 4 yr old, housing, me having kidney failure and severe anxiety and depression is taking its toll. Im being open and honest that ive hit rock bottom and contemplated suicide a few times, im now starting to loose my hair and constantly crying yet i try so hard to hide it all. I dont want to fail my children or husband. We so need youd help, we want to bring our son home but we also are going to have to adjust everything as he needs medication and oxygen to be able to still live, this oxygen is going to cost us nearly £70 a week to run. Any help would be apreshiated in order to care for Albert.
