In June 2019, Gemma had a baby boy - Flynn, Diana's first grandson.. and we have loved every moment since he has arrived!! Shortly after Flynn was born Diana saw Baby Basics on TV, which sparked our intrest.

We decided it was unimaginable to face leaving the hospial with a new born with out the means to be prepared for the jouney that follows... we could not wait to get involved!!

10 months later..... We are Baby Basics - Kent!

Baby Basics provides much needed essentials and equipment to mothers and families who are unable to provide these items for themselves; including but not limited to teenage mums, people seeking asylum and women fleeing domestic abuse and trafficking.

Working with midwives, health visitors and other professional groups to provide support directly where it is most needed, Baby Basics volunteers lovingly collect, sort and package a ‘Moses Basket’ of clothing, toiletries and essential baby equipment as an attractive gift to new mothers.

We aim to raise £5,000 so we can register BabyBasics - Kent as a stand alone charity.

Your donations will go towards new matresses for all moses baskets gifted - to comply with EU regualtions, toiletries, & our overheads (insurances, storage of donations and day to day costs of packing and delivering donations).
