A group of midwifery students from DMU are running the 5k tough mudder to raise money for Baby Basics Leicester.

Baby Basics Leicester is a volunteer led charity who support vulnerable new mums or families with essential baby items for their new baby or young child. We work with health professionals to give out pre-loved items such as moses baskets, clothes, toiletries, baby bouncers, buggies, cots and high chairs.

So far we have completed 400 referrals and the demand is ever increasing. Raising vital funds will help us to buy new mattresses for each referral, new toiletries or other items that haven't been donated.
