Baby Dinosaurs is hosting a huge Christmas Gift Appeal, called All Wrapped Up. For local underprivileged children across the region, who may not receive a gift this Christmas, without our intervention.
Baby Dinosaurs is calling on residents and businesses to support the All Wrapped Up appeal to ensure it can help as many children and young people as possible this Christmas.
In 2018 Baby Dinosaurs, gave 539 children and teens gifts in North Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. This year Baby Dinosaurs aims to triple that figure and widen the area in which we cover. With the help from local and national businesses being drop off points and the publics donations.
Baby Dinosaurs owner Lisa Hensby said: “This time of year can be an extremely stressful time for parents and guardians. So if we can help take away some of that pressure and bring smiles to babies, children and teenagers faces, we will do our upmost to make that happen. Unfortunately some children wake up on Christmas morning with nothing to receive but with our help and intervention, Baby Dinosaurs will not let that happen.”
All gifts donated will be wrapped and given to a local child near you.
Baby Dinosaurs Gift Appeal will run from 1st November to 12th December 2019.
Lisa added: “Our process is like no other, not only do we collect the toys but we also give it that Baby Dinosaurs personalised touch. We hold special wrapping days, to wrap them, gift tag and bow each present individually to give it that special touch for a child who won’t receive a present this Christmas.
“Every professional involved in the appeal sends us a referral of name age, gender and area of the families in their care. That way we know we can cover every single child with the appropriate gift and ensure no one is left out.”
So far we have had over 700 referrals of children in need to date, with more coming in hourly. Please donate as little as £1 to help us make sure every child receives a gift this Christmas.
