Early hours of Saturday morning, we delivered our long awaited foal, Felix. For first time mum, Faye did amazingly. After carrying him for 11 months, baby felix was born at 1:30 AM on his due date. He came out fighting and it wasn't long before he was up and bouncing around.

Sadly, by 3:30 AM baby took a turn for the worse and began to colic. We called the vet immediately who administered medical care. We sat with him all night, and we hoped he was in the clear. But unfornatntly this wasn't enough. This morning Felix was rushed to Rossdales Veterinary Surgery, where a team of vets and nurses awaited his arrival. Carried in on a stretcher Baby and Mum was
