I've raised £1000 to to get an orthopaedic consultation and X - rays for baby Neil the disabled, stray kitten.

Baby Neil is a 5 week old kitten who was born in a shed behind a shop to a stray mother cat. Neil was born severely disabled with his hind limbs pointing backwards, meaning that he drags his body along using his forelimbs. This was noticed by a member of the public who took him to a veterinary practice believing he would need to be euthanized. On seeing baby Neil's determination to survive, the staff decided to give him a chance and contacted Wildacre rescue who have agreed to help baby Neil and he is currently in a foster home where he is amazing everybody.
Baby Neil carries most of his weight on his forelimbs and is at risk of a number of complications due to his condition. In order to give him the best chance of survival, baby Neil will need a consultation with a specialist orthopaedic surgeon and some X - rays to determine what can be done to help him. This will be a costly procedure and put a huge strain on the charity already helping so many homeless animals. Our aim is to raise 1,000 to get baby Neil to the specialist and find out exactly what can be done to save this spirited little kitten. No donation is too small and every penny is hugely appreciated and will mean the world to baby Neil.
