I've raised £5000 to Assist Multiple Charities By Completing 'The Race To The King' Ultra Marathon 2018 - We Are The Back2lifers - A Non Stop Walk Collective

The Back2Lifers team will be taking on yet another ultra marathon this year, Called 'The Race to the King' across The South Downs on 23/24th June 2018.
The 2018 team members are:
Marcus Frost
Wilf Frost -
Melanie Dakin Anglesey
Justin Cookee
Paulo Gonzalez -
Paul Elvin
Chris Maynard
Natalia McGregor
Alice Howard
The team that formed in 2016 will be walking another double marathon ultra of over 52Miles non stop in 24 hours. Some of the team's feet still haven't recovered from the 2016 & 2017 Ultra's, this is not an easy feat! It takes all they have to give.
This is the triple crown of the Threshold Sports Trail Series. Not many complete all 3! Come rain or shine! This team will not give up! The Cover picture is of the team after completing the 100km in 24 hours in 2016.
For some of the Back2Lifers team, This will be their third Ultra in as many years, others their second, and one or two new additions fresh for 2018 will completing their first alongside experienced team members.
We are aiming to raise at least £5,000 to be split between the following charities:
Parkinsons UK - https://www.parkinsons.org.uk/ - The Parkinson's charity that drives better care, treatments and quality of life. Because they are there, no one has to face Parkinson's alone.
RSPCA - https://www.rspca.org.uk/home - Every year thousands of animals suffer from neglect, cruelty and abuse. With your help we can end their misery. RSPCA rely on voluntary fundraising and donations to carry out vital work.
Macmillan - https://www.macmillan.org.uk/ - They support people with the symptoms of over 200 different types of cancer, invaluable and needed by many, they will use the money wisely to fund many things.
Naomi House Children's Hospice - Naomi House & Jacksplace hospices provide 24 hour care to more than 325 life-limited and life-threatened children and young adults from across southern England. They offer respite, community, emergency, end of life and post bereavement care on good days, difficult days and last days.
Prostate Cancer UK -- https://prostatecanceruk.org/
If you can kindly donate to the collective team, this will give us that extra willpower (particularly through the night sections), please feel free to donate via this JustGiving page,

Route Overview For Race to The King 2018
Starting at the Slindon Estate near Arundel and finishing at Winchester Cathedral. The route takes you along the South Downs Way, an ancient path along a ridge of chalk hills. Not only does the route offer breath-taking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, there are also numerous historical sites along the way to pique the interest.
The History of the Route
Spanning from the chalk cliffs in East Sussex to the ancient capital of Winchester, humans have been using the South Downs for thousands of years. Millennia of use has left the rolling chalk landscape studded with historical sites as generations have been drawn to the sweeping views North over the Weald and South over the English Channel.
