Operation: Back To School Basingstoke
As we read about the cost of living crisis beginning to take hold and affecting families everywhere, our hearts were stirred to read that a staggering
one in ten families will be forced to skip meals and go hungry in order to be able to afford to buy their children much needed uniform and back to school supplies
and so Operation Back To School Basingstoke was birthed!
We've reached out to major retailers of school uniform and stationery as well as members of our local community, for both new and preloved uniform and new school supplies, so we will be able to give generously to families in our community who would welcome being able to have a helping hand as the new term begins.
For those of you that would like to join with us to support this incredibly worthy cause, but aren't able to drop-off any uniform or stationery items.... we'd love you to donate so that we can turn your generous contribution into gifts to be able to love on our community by handing these out on Saturday, 27th August at Russell Howard Pavilion.
If you're in a position to be able to give, no matter how small, it is massively appreciated and we know just how much it will bless the families we are able to reach.
