I've raised £500 to to go towards the local boxing club - Beartown ABC (Congleton)

On Sunday 6th May, Ryan and myself are embarking on our next challenge! Each year we up our challenge making it harder than the last; In 2016, we completed the National Three Peak Challenge (Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon) in 23hrs 40mins. In 2017, we walked Hadrians Wall - a total of a hundred miles over 5 days. In total for both of these challenges, we raised a massive £1000 for Cancer. This year we are completing the Welsh 3000 Challenge.
The Welsh 3000s are the 15 mountains in Wales that have a height of 3,000 feet (914.4 m) or more. In order to complete the Welsh 3000s Challenge we are required to have been at the top of all 15 of the mountains over 3000 ft in Wales within the space of 24 hours, without using any form of transport. The length is about 24 miles, but the walks to the start point and down from the finish point can take it to over 30 miles in total.
We will travel to Wales on Saturday 5th May, where we will take the Llanberis Pass up to the top of Snowdon and set up camp for the night - hopefully it won't be too cold! Our challenge will begin at 5.00am on Sunday 6th May, where will touch our first Summit (Snowdon) and aim to finish the challenge in 24hrs!
This year we have decided to raise money for our local boxing club - Beartown ABC in Congleton. Ryan and myself have been attending this club for less than a year now and we can see the massive impact that it has on the local community ,offering amateur boxing and fitness to all ages and skill levels. Its great to see young children and youths being active and having a passion for a sport so young. Personally, for ourselves its great to be in an environment where everyone is so supportive and positive. The money would go towards keeping the club open, new equipment and anything else they may need.
Any amount would greatly be appreciated by the club even if its just a £1. Thank you for reading our story and we will keep you updated along the way xx
