I've raised £350 to Support Glasgow NW Foodbank in their efforts to end hunger within the North West of Glasgow

The BAE Sustainable Systems are a group of 5 young professionals from the Project Management and Engineering functions within the Naval Ships business unit of BAE Systems. We are raising money to help support the Glasgow NW Foodbank in their efforts to end hunger within the North West of Glasgow, this is part of a wider project ran in partnership with the Association for Project Management the aims of which are to allow us to improve our project management skills while offering support to a worthwhile cause, in this case the Glasgow NW Foodbank, with a focus on improving the sustainability of their operations. The team will be completing a virtual challenge, whereby we aim to sustainably travel a total distance of 461 miles, the distance between the most southern, Glasgow NW and the most northern Trussell Trust Sites. In conjunction with monetary donations, the team are also hosting food and bag for life donations points to allow the food parcels the Glasgow NW Foodbank deliver to be done so in a more sustainable fashion by reducing their dependency on single use plastic bags.
