What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

Supporters of Manchester United Football Club asked us, the supporters of Bishop Auckland Football Club to help donate money for bricks in Bishop Auckland Football Club new commemorative wall, further cementing our indelible link between the two clubs. The bricks will commemorate all 23 people who lost their lives, after a plane crash in Munich on 6th February 1958.

Following the accident Bishop Auckland FC were asked if they could send players to help Manchester United field a team, which they duly obliged by sending 3 of their best players, Derek Lewin, Bobby Hardisty and Warren Bradley.

Any money raised over and above the target will be shared equally with a worthy cause nominated by Manchester United Football Club and Bishop Auckland FC Supporters Club of which the proceeds will be used to support youth development with in the first team squad.

What an achievement, just hit £1500 that's 76% of our target - 6 hours short of only being up for 1 week. That's amazing guys, well done Manchester United FC and Bishop Auckland FC fans for raising so much money in such little time. Last push now and I'm wondering if we can reach the total by 4:30pm today? Keep sharing and I'm sure we can. Many thanks.
