In September 2018, I will be backpacking across Asia to learn more about the different cultures around the world. As a little contribution to the world, I wanted to raise funds for Planeterra Foundation. Planeterra Foundation is a non-profit organisation that has contributed millions of funds towards projects in areas of healthcare, education, conservation, and emergency responses in some of the most poorest countries in the world.

In 2013, G Adventures and Planeterra Foundation launched the G Project to make our world a better place. The whole G Project is a symptom of a change.

Active projects, range from:

(1) Empowering Women: through helping women redefine their roles in society by providing life-changing access to education and job-training.

(2) New Paths for Youth: Youth in many parts of the world have limited access to formal education, and have few opportunities for jobs. Planeterra supports programs that help at-risk youth develop skills to work, and provides them with a chance to create positive life paths.

(3) Conserving Cultures: Planeterra supports programs that recognise the unique offerings that indigenous and rural communities have to give.
