I've raised £2000 to provide support for Scope, and to help Baguley Athletic FC continue to provide a safe environment for the community to play football.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our Just Giving Page. On 8th September 2018 we will be participating in Tough Mudder, and on July 29th 2018 we will be taking part in the Wythenshawe 10k Park Run. Both events will be completed to raise funds for Scope AND our football club, Baguley Athletic.

Scope exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. They provide support, information and advice to more than a quarter of a million disabled people and their families every year. They raise awareness of the issues that matter. And with your support, will keep driving change across society until this country is great for everyone.

Everyday Equality, Scopes five-year strategy which began in 2017, sets out how they will work to drive social change. Life today is much harder for the 13 million disabled people in this country than it needs to be. Each and every pound that you give makes a real difference to the amount of help that Scope can provide.

At Baguley Athletic, we started a long term project in 2013 to become the leading community club in Wythenshawe. We want to be able to offer everyone the chance to play or get involved in football without any boundaries.

Expenses in grassroots sports has increased significantly, with many clubs forced to fold due to lack of funding. The money we raise goes straight into being able to provide the community of Wythenshawe a safe and fun place to enjoy the game of football and to feel they are part of something.

Please help by donating what you can to our fantastic causes.
