World Scout Jamboree 2019 is a gathering of scouts , explorers and guides from around the globe , a percentage of the money raised is given to scouts from countries that cannot afford to attend this multi-cultural event , to allow them to send children who would otherwise not be able to go . The scouts are busy doing their own fundraising events from bag packing , event parking , car boot sales and many more events. It costs £3600 per scout to attend and there are ten going from my sons contingent , so as you can see they have a lot of work to do .
