Story

On Saturday 6th April 2019, little Bailey (who was only 24 weeks old) was walking with my son in law in a public field in Stockport. Another dog, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, (who was not on a lead and a long way away from his owner) savaged little Bailey causing fatal injuries. The owner of the staffy did absolutely nothing to help as she was holding in her arms a Jack Russell who was meant to be the "nasty one" in the owners words. Even though we have tracked down the owner, there is nothing in law to criminalise the owner as no human was hurt. Despite Bailey being rushed to a vet, he died of his injuries the following morning. As you can imagine, my daughter and son in low are devastated (as are we all), additionally, they have been left with a large vets bill, a cremation cost etc - for a young couple this is additional worry on top of their lost. If you can spare any amount of money towards these fees, I would be eternally grateful. Nothing can or will replace little Bailey but hoping that we can raise the fees incurred in such a mindless, irresponsible, heart breaking loss. Thank you to everyone reading and if you can share we would be very grateful
