Story
My name’s Bakhtawer and i am raising funds for life saving cancer treatment for my cancer diagnosis. In September 2022 I received the devastating news that after 8 months in remission, my cancer was back and has unfortunately spread to my other organs. The doctors have said there is no cure or surgery available for me and that i should be put on palliative chemo to try control the spread but have given up all hope on me. To be told at the age of 28 that you only have weeks and months to live is a heartbreak I pray no one ever goes through.
Despite this setback my family and I are not giving up. We have found cancer treatment abroad which we believe will help improve my chances at living longer and God willing, cure my cancer. The type of treatment I need urgently right now is Immunotherapy. Unfortunately my doctors have said I do not qualify for this under the NHS but after speaking to a clinic and doctors in Spain over the last few weeks we all believe that this treatment will give me the fighting chance. The treatment involves taking my blood sample, get the white blood cells and create an army of them to fight all the cancer cells and destroy all the tumours. After several discussions with the Spanish doctors our hearts firmly believe this might be the cure. This is not just medical therapy, the treatment comes alongside a whole lifestyle change where i will be continuously guided on how to reduce the risk of cancer which includes diet, exercise, mindfulness and personalised supplements. They have several success stories including winning 2 Nobel peace prize awards. Because I am young and still mobile the doctors believe I have a fighting chance to succeed this.
Time is the one thing I don’t have right now. With how aggressive my cancer is, I need to raise funds asap for me to begin this treatment. Ideally i need to begin this treatment within the next 10 days. This is because my Chemotherapy starts on the 11th October. The more chemo i have, the less white blood cells I’ll have in my body to fight the cancer. So my WBC is at its best now.
From me and my family we ask you humbly from the bottom of our hearts if you could please help donate or support in anyway, be it as little as a £1 then you will be helping to save my life. This is a last resort for me and my family and we are willing to try anything that works. The rest is up to GOD.
Thank you
Bakhtawer
