Story
We would like to thank all family and friends who have asked about making donations in lieu of flowers and/or to support something that was important to mum.
Those who knew our mum well would know how much Sikhism was important to her, her generosity – particularly with regards to food and hospitality, Elders day centre, and her great seamstress skills. We will be making arrangements to ensure that all of these are honoured and continued in our mother’s memory.
However, again as many of you may be aware, our mum had been poorly for a time and was being treated by consultant specialists at Derby City Royal Hospital, in particular Dr Robert Berg.
Dr Berg was extremely kind and gentle with our mum and we would like to support his continued work in this area, particularly his research as medical research is also an area which her grand-daughter Sanjana wishes to pursue.
Below are some details about Dr Berg, and his work.
