A group of Support staff from Ballakermeen high school have set themselves the challenge of riding the famous Isle of Man TT Mountain course to raise funds for the Special Needs Unit at Ballakermeen High School. The unit works with a large number of students with a range of additional needs and supporting the work they do is a cause close to the hearts of all team members. While some of our cyclists have been been riding for many years, others have only been on the roads for a few weeks and team effort will be key in completing this daunting task, by no means an easy task!
