Story

Urgent Appeal

Raising money to help the flood-affected people of Balochistan. Heavy rains have caused floods across the region killing more than 200 people, damaging more than 22000 homes, and making thousands of people homeless.

Balochistan is generally the driest Province with a scarcity of rain. Given that majority of the population lives in rural centres with weak infrastructure, the effects of the floods have been disastrous. The devastation has been magnified by poor infrastructure, mud houses, and a missing disaster management system. Through your donation, you can help the people of Balochistan directly by providing direct support for basic necessities, money, and house support.

According to UNDP, more than 46% of the population live below poverty line, which is defined as living on less than £2 a day.
