Story
Baloo was diagnosed on Feb 3rd 2018 with canine osteosarcoma - bone cancer - which is considered to be terminal. The vet's options were amputation of his affected leg and chemo - neither which offers a long term solution and would put him through immense distress. The good news is that x-rays suggest it hasn't travelled and so it is only in his front leg. We have been seeking alternative solutions and have already had some success with a variety of natural remedies including Artemisinin and CBD oil. However the most effective remedy is a controversial, natural product similar to one of the treatments he is already receiving but only available from the USA at the moment -at a cost of £1000 per month. This is not covered by pet insurance, for a number of reasons, but if effective may only take 2-3 months to work and so we think it is worth giving it our best shot. This is, however, a significant amount of money to find in a short period and so we are asking for some help, if only to help take the edge of the full cost. Baloo is otherwise very happy, vibrant and full of life and so we want to do everything we can to get him back down to the beach this summer.
