Story

The Challenge:

Hi! We are Tom McCallum, Tom Herbert and Jacob Page, all second year students at the University of Nottingham, and we are aiming to raise £300 in order to take part in the Great Escape Challenge. The challenge entails getting as far away from Nottingham as possible in 36 hours, without using any of our own money!

The Cause:

All of your donations will go directly to Enactus , a non-profit student-led organisation which runs amazing projects within impoverished communities, both international and domestic. Enactus gives students the opportunity to help transform the lives of those in need through setting up social enterprises. These projects include providing materials, technology and education in order to build more sustainable lives. There are a number of current projects being run by University of Nottingham students, including a project called bottle-to-bottle, a project aiming to help Nepalese people rebuild their lives after a number of devastating earthquakes in recent years, as well as many other amazing projects.

Please visit the Enactus Nottingham Website where you can find out more about Enactus' current projects.

How you can help:

We have until the 3rd March to raise £300 to be able to take part in this challenge, however we wish to raise much more. Small or large, any donations would be very much appreciated!

We thank you in advance for any donations or contributions!

Tom, Tom & Jacob
