Bright Futures
Little hearts, bright futures – In January 2023, we installed an automated external defibrillator (AED) at each of our 50+ UK nurseries.
Big moments, bright futures – In summer 2025, we equipped all of our nurseries with a LifeVac anti-choking device.
We’re asking for donations to support our nursery network with the ongoing maintenance fees that are required to support each active defibrillator and LifeVac. All donations received will be used to either purchase, install or maintain one of these devices in a UK-based nursery setting.

At Banana Moon, everything we do is oriented towards helping young people to reach their full potential. We therefore believe it’s our responsibility to support children in ways that reach beyond providing exceptional childcare.
We launched our ‘Little hearts, bright futures’ initiative in January 2023, aiming to install an automated external defibrillator (AED) from CardiAid at each of our nursery franchises. The initiative means members of the communities local to the nurseries will be within minutes of the AED.
To further support our safeguarding measures, we expanded our ‘Bright futures’ initiative in summer 2025 by equipping each of our nurseries with a LifeVac anti-choking device, sponsored by the amazing Eden Training Solutions. Time is of the essence when someone begins to choke, and the LifeVac is designed to help prevent these emergencies from becoming tragedies. This non-invasive, portable airway clearance device is a lifesaving solution when chest compressions fail.
Although we hope that these devices will never have to be used, we hope they give reassurance to parents as we continue to demonstrate our commitment to safeguarding the little ones in our care, as well as serving the wider community.
