Story

This Christmas Ben and Ban are off to Jamaica. There'll be no roast dinner, no hope of snow, and Rudolph's more likely to have red eye than a red nose.

So we thought why not go the whole shebang and give up the rest of our Christmas too? Instead of doing presents this year, we'll be making and accepting donations to two local charities. Simply let us know which charity you'd prefer to donate to in place of our Christmas present in the comments, or we'll split your donation evenly between the following two causes:

Simon On The Street - Operating across Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield, SOTS offer front-line emotional and practical support for rough sleepers who find it difficult to engage with other services.

MAP Charity - An innovative charity providing qualifications in Music, Art, Maths and English to young people at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. With the lease on their building soon coming to an end, they're currently in the process of raising £2.4million to secure their future.
