Story

After the bee colony collapse a few years back, numbers of colonies have risen again. Bees are still at risk from insecticides, pesticides and varoa mites which all of the above probably caused the collapse.

Beekeepers from colder climates have thrown their heads together and came up with various insulated and polistyrene beehives.

We have wide areas with wild flowers and planted gardens but still no bees. Even the bumblebees are in decline in our area because people kill them instead of having them removed and relocated by a professional.

I would like to get 1 insulated hive, a colony of bees and a non chemical aid against varoa mite. If the money streches that far, a bumblebee house would also be great.

By providing proper shelter the bees will have a save space without having to fear their human neighbors and people may take an interest to learn and get over the fear of bees.

Thanks very much in advance for your help.
