Story

Meet our ninjas, Freddy, Charly & Lexy, Triplets born at 32+6 weeks weighing in at 4lb6.5oz, 3lb9oz & 3lb1oz, they spent 4+weeks in the Neonatal Unit where the care they received was beyond amazing.

During my pregnancy I suffered an incredible loss, my daddy, my hero, he suddenly died when I was 23 weeks pregnant, the health of the triplets seriously declined and if born would not have had a chance of survival, so our obstetric consultant advised us we needed to get to 28 weeks to have a fighting chance, our guardian angel stood by our miracle three to help us get to 32+6, far beyond our expectations.

Without these incubators, not only our special babies, but premature and sick babies across the country would not survive AND thrive. During our time in our local NICU, this unit didn't just serve the local community, there were babies from England, where their mother was visiting locally and went into premature labour, even the smallest of NICU can help far and wide.

One individual unit costs £25,000, I understand we may not reach this target but over the next few months we will be carrying out various fundraising activities to at least help toward buy the latest version, that WILL help babies go home where they belong, with their parents, with their families.
