Marnie (15) and Vel (13) Corrick-Gough are 2 of 3 sisters selected to represent Great Britain at the Junior Roller Derby World Cup in Philadelphia in July.

The girls have already undertaken (and commited to future undertaking of) fundraising events (sponsored walks, running a huge family fin day), car boot sales and taken extra jobs such as waitressing and dog sitting to help finance their trip. However- despite working every weekend up to the event and doing their very best to earn the money for the trip through their own efforts- the girls are running out of time, ideas and energy.

They really didnt want to go down the crowd funding route because they genuinely wanted to make the money for themselves- but both Marnie and Vel are also seriously focussed on their academic studies and team GB and Berries training which means that they are not able to put in the time to arrange any mid week events
