Our school Osrodek Szkolno-Wychowawczy nr 3 in Przemyśl, Poland teaches and supports students with physical and learning difficulties aged between 13-24 years.
We are a public school which means that our Local Government pays for all of our facilities. Although it is their responsibility to support us in improving our school, their support is limited.
We have applied to the government for pneumatic pool lift as it would greatly benefit our students however the cost proved to be too much.
We are looking to raise £5000 for a pneumatic pool lift to enable students using wheelchairs and walkers to access our rehabilitation pool. At the moment we are using man power to lift students in and out of the pool which means time wasted for their rehabilitation. Having a pneumatic pool lift would greatly increase our students’ sense of security and the time saved will enable our specialists to use their time more effectively. All of that our students need and deserve however without your help we won't be able to do that.
