In today's world, it is incredibly challenging for young people to lead a good life and find the right path where we can grow both spiritually and emotionally. Temptations and distractions surround us, making it difficult to uphold strong morals while also enjoying life in a safe and supportive environment.
We consider ourselves truly blessed to have met the sisters from the St. Andrew Community. Every Friday, we gather for our Youth Group meetings, where we play, share meals, sing, pray, and learn about God. Thanks to these wonderful gatherings, Fridays have become the highlight of our week!
Each year for thirteen years now, the sisters have been organising a pilgrimage to a different part of the world. Every single trip has been an incredible, life-changing experience that stays with us forever. Pilgrimage strengthens us mentally and spiritually, helping us grow in our faith while also supporting our mental well-being. It offers us a much-needed escape from the pressures of modern life, keeping us away from harmful addictions and unhealthy influences. Instead, we learn how to celebrate our traditions, respect our elders, cherish our parents, and build meaningful friendships that uplift and inspire us.
The sisters are like six extra mothers to us, guiding us with love and wisdom, while our fellow youth group members feel like a second, wonderful family.
This year, we have the incredible opportunity to go on pilgrimage to France, but we need your help.
