Story

There is a world-wide shortage of scrubs due to demand resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. Key Workers, Community Workers, Carers and others are in despite need of scrubs to help protect themselves as they care for vulnerable Island residents, and in some cases caring for those showing symptoms of Covid-19 infection.

These brave people are putting their own health at risk to care for others. Our aim is to support them by making and supplying scrubs as national stocks have been exhausted. 2000 metres of fabric is being ordered, a local company is ready to bulk cut and there is a team of volunteer seamstress across the Isle of Wight waiting to sew. Please help by donating so we can make as many scrubs as possible to help keep our Key Workers and Carers safe.

Any monies raised over the direct requirements of this appeal will be used for addition supplies as required by Isle of Wight services.
