What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
Belvoir Area Residents Group are fundraising for a community christmas tree. Due to Belfast City Council policy we can only use a living christmas tree.
To buy the tree and have it delivered and planted is going to cost £1650.
We will be inviting the community to place decorations on the tree in memory of loved ones. We will also be arranging a carol service and santa for the official lights switch on.
