Story

I'm going to be getting my hair cut off and surprise dyed!!

Being honest, I'm not too sure about the idea, I quite like my locks as they are, but its a way to raise some funds for our much needed wheelchair adapted vehicle.

My hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust, who provide real hair wigs free of charge, to children and young adults up to the age of 24, who have sadly lost their own hair, due to cancer treatment and other illnesses. All the money raised will go towards Barneys Vehicle.

The fantastic Lew at One, Two, Six Hair Salon in Evesham, will be doing the honours! He has suggested clippers! and an "out there" hair dye! and basically has a free reign to do whatever he wants!!

When this page reaches £1000, we will let you know of the date and time, where you can tune in to a Facebook Live stream, to watch some of the cutting/clipping/dying and obviously the final reveal!

Barneys wheelchair no longer meets his needs, it is not supportive enough. He leans over to the left, and has developed a slight curve in his spine. Whilst the next wheelchair has been arranged, we do not have the vehicle to accommodate it. We have come under pressure to get our vehicle ordered, even though our finances do not allow for the down payment that this requires. It has become urgent. Poor Barney cries when we have to lift him in and out of the car. It has become really difficult for us. The vehicle has been on our agenda for the last 12 months, and we have put it off for as long as possible due to the financial burden that comes with it. We have had to choose a large vehicle which requires a huge down payment, due to all the stuff that Barney requires, whether we go away for 1 night or two weeks! When we go anywhere, we need Barneys wheelchair, his 3 wheeler off roader for country walks, we need medication, feeding pump, feeding sets, nappies, Our dog Buddy (Barneys best friend), and all of her things, not to mention if we are considering going camping etc. Holidays can only be UK from now on, and we do still want to make memories, and live our lives to the fullest with Barney, whilst we still can. We need to give consideration to changing him in our vehicle, where public facilities do not meet the needs of the disabled, unless you are prepared to lye him on the toilet floor!

There are going to be many fundraisers to get us to our £10,000 target, and this is something that I am going to personally do.

Please sponsor me. This is such a big deal and hasn't been an easy decision, but I will always do anything to support my little hero!

Thank you so much. Bev xx
