On Thursday 21st September 2017, I think it is fair to say, we lost one of the very best men any of us have ever known.

The memories we all have of Barney are beautifully endless. He helped to shape all of our lives for the better and it is his impact on us that has made us all better people.

This fund raising page is dedicated to raising as much money as possible, through a number of different events, to ensure we fulfil, protect and honour Barney’s legacy. With this in mind let’s get giving so that many good and purposeful things come from his passing.

We will be hosting the Mark ‘Barney’ Barwell Football Tournament once again this year on Saturday 21st September 2024 at Kettering Rugby Club.

We thank you in advance for your generosity in raising money for our four fantastic causes. We plan to run a raffle and sell food on the day in order to raise further funds. If you are able to contribute in any way to these additional events then please get in touch with one of the Unit boys.
