Weʼve raised £155 to go towards purchasing a property for the non-profit organisation to be based.

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We at Barney's Lifeline are very passionate about starting a new kind of animal sanctuary- specifically, an animal retirement home.
This is something we have not been able to find anywhere else in the UK.
This will be somewhere for a variety of species to come, (dogs, cats, poultry, small farmyard, reptiles, avarian) to live out the rest of their days in absolute bliss, with top notch medical care, as well as being in the luxury of a loving family home, with plenty of playful exercise options available for the more active residents.
We have been fundraising since late August 2016, and we are making slow, yet steady progress towards achieving our goal.
Without sugar coating the situation, we are in need of funds to purchase a property for this extraordinary venture.
The costs of animal care (vet bills, food, toys, exercise equipment etc), as well as building maintainance, construction, and so on, would be managable by ourselves.
At present, we already have several people with various degrees in animal care and carpentry skills, who are ready to help us in the set-up and running of this (pending) non profit organisation, including people who are happy to volunteer their time to carry out a variety of tasks with and/for the residents.
If you cannot give any financial support to us, we would love for you to join our group on facebook (aptly titled, "Barney's Lifeline") and hear any fundraising suggestions you may have, as well as have a friendly chat, and ask any questions you may have.
All of our progress reports are posted in the group.
There are also links to items we are selling to raise further funds.
The more members we gain, the better our chances are of being officially recognised when we send our updates to HMRC at the end of August 2017.
All animals deserve the best treatment available.
Can you help us?
Thank you for your time.
Steph and Alex.

Hi everyone, my name is Steph. Myself and my family are determined to open an animal retirement home, so that fewer animals end their lives in kennels, or without appropriate medical care. For a project this huge, we need a lot of support. Can you help us? Find us on facebook!
