We at Barney's Lifeline are very passionate about starting a new kind of animal sanctuary- specifically, an animal retirement home.
This is something we have not been able to find anywhere else in the UK.

This will be somewhere for a variety of species to come, (dogs, cats, poultry, small farmyard, reptiles, avarian) to live out the rest of their days in absolute bliss, with top notch medical care, as well as being in the luxury of a loving family home, with plenty of playful exercise options available for the more active residents.

We have been fundraising since late August 2016, and we are making slow, yet steady progress towards achieving our goal.

Without sugar coating the situation, we are in need of funds to purchase a property for this extraordinary venture.
The costs of animal care (vet bills, food, toys, exercise equipment etc), as well as building maintainance, construction, and so on, would be managable by ourselves.

At present, we already have several people with various degrees in animal care and carpentry skills, who are ready to help us in the set-up and running of this (pending) non profit organisation, including people who are happy to volunteer their time to carry out a variety of tasks with and/for the residents.
