I am sure most of you have heard by now, of the very sad news of the passing of Smallthornes legend Barry Friend.
As if it was not difficult enough for both Pat and Karin. Barry passed away whilst visiting friends in Spain. I am sure you are all aware of the extortionate costs involved in repatriation back to Britain. Therefore I am kindly asking if all Barry’s friend could donate to this page instead of sending flowers, to ease the stress and worry for Pat at this very difficult time. For those of you who would rather give cash, please give it to Karin or I and it will be given to Pat. The last thing a loved one needs when grieving is the added stress of finances .
