Story

I lost my beautiful boxer boy Leo on the 9/10/2018 to a tragic accident involving snack packaging he suffocated. That night while in bed in despair i posted on social media to warn others of the dangers, it went everywhere and i beleive Leo has saved many dogs from such a tragedy. This has been the only thing that has helped me to try to understand why i lost my beautiful boy. I‘m trying my best to make his passing into something that can help others. For this reason on sunday 28th October at 8am i‘m going to walk the wirral costal walk of 15 miles in his memory. I‘d love anyone with a dog or without to join me on any section of the walk and tell me about their dog or perhaps a dog they once had in their life.

I‘d like to raise any money if possible and donate it to Joey’s Legacy Boxer rescue a wonderful organisation that takes care of boxer dogs in need see below what they say.

‘Can you help us by making a small contribution to the rescue? We receive no funding apart from donations from members of the public and are an entirely voluntary organisation. All funds received will help greatly towards our vet & kennel bills, which in turn will help us to help more boxers in need.’

I‘d really love the memory of Leo to be able to create something really positive. And also to take the opportunity for other people to share their stories of their dogs, past and present along the way with myself and each other. Anyone who‘s owned a fur baby knows what an impact they have on us all. If you can join me for any stage of the walk that would be wonderful and if you can donate to such a wonderful charity me and Leo will be forever grateful. Love Barry ❤️ and Leo 🌟🌈
